The Utility Operator role will be located at our Montpelier plant location. 

JOB PURPOSE:

To perform general clean-up, and general manual labor. To transport materials, supplies, and equipment throughout the plant. Also, will be required to operate heavy mobile mining equipment within the plant.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Shovels, sweeps, cleans up grounds, loads and unloads trucks, cleans sand spillage with water hose, broom, hi-vac system, and shovel.


• Cuts weeds and trees and disposes of debris.


• Washes floors, windows, etc.


• Cleans, inspects, refuels, lubricates, and makes operating repairs to mobile equipment and other machinery.


• Operates heaving mobile mining within the plant


• May perform maintenance tasks as required by management.


• Works in other job classifications as required.

EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• High School diploma is required


• Heavy Machine operating experience required


• Prior manufacturing experience required


• Must be able to fill a temporary vacancy of all job functions in the plant and the mine.
