LMI seeks an entry-level acquisition analyst to support a federal program management office in Fort Lee, VA. Responsibilities

    Provide program management support services to Government leadership, regarding:

    • Program lifecycle: planning, developing, acquiring, testing, deploying, and disposal.

    • FAR /DFAR regulations and policies

    • Post award contract performance management actions

    • DoD financial management duties such as budgeting, disbursing, and accounting for government funds


  • Conduct customer meetings, interact with stakeholders and to support or direct collection and documentation of stakeholder requirements

  • Coordinate and support team efforts to develop, test, deploy and sustain business solutions and development and maintenance of the program's DoD 5000 series documentation library

  • Develop and perform continuous management of the Project Management Plan and integrated master schedule for a portfolio

  • Manage and coordinate all analysis efforts and identify critical areas for improvement.

  • Support periodic schedule reviews and revalidate the supporting business case analysis prior to each change in the acquisition strategy.

  • Facilitate and support Working Level IPTs, as necessary

  • Support Business Financial Managers (BFM) and Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) taskers throughout the budget cycle


Qualifications


  • 2-4 years' experience in a program management office or in an IT environment as a functional area analyst

  • Excellent writing and communication skills

  • Demonstrated multitasking ability, problem solving skills and a consistent record of on time delivery and customer service

  • Familiarity with DoD 5000

  • Prior DoD Budgeting / Contracting Experience

  • Professional certification CMP, PMP, ITIL, or DAWIIA preferred
