This position will join the staff of a government consulting firm headquartered in Tysons, VA. The Logistics/Data Analyst will help assess force structure needs of the Army Quartermaster Corps. This position is located at Fort Lee, VA in support of the United States Army Combined Arms Support Command.

Responsibilities

    Conduct research into logistics operations, including literature reviews, interviews, and site visits.
  • Canvass logistics databases, integrate data from numerous sources, and manipulate the data for analysis of courses of action.

  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis of logistics operations, including application of analytical and what-if

  • Synthesize project findings into actionable recommendations with demonstrable benefits in business performance.

  • Communicate with clients through written reports and oral presentations.

  • Coordinate and staff recommendations with multiple agencies.

  • Assist in marketing of consulting services, including market research, teaming arrangements, competitive analysis, and creation of marketing publications.

  • Assist in business performance assessment and reporting.

Qualifications



  • Active DoD Secret clearance required.

  • Bachelors degree required. Degree in engineering, finance, economics, operations research, mathematics, or a related discipline preferred.

  • 1-5 years of work experience.

  • Army knowledge/experience required. Working knowledge of Army Sustainment preferred.

  • Strong quantitative skills, including the ability to use spreadsheet, business intelligence tools, databases, and project management software.

  • Demonstrated ability to quickly acquire and apply domain-specific expertise through on-the-job training and professional development training.

  • Superior communication skills, both oral and written.

  • Current U.S. Government security clearance preferred, ability to obtain one is required.

  • Available for occasional travel.
