OVERVIEW

As a Transportation Coordinator, you will ensure that our truckload, LTL and Intermodal freight is picked up and delivered on time and at the optimal costs to both internal and external partners each day. In order to achieve this the Transportation Coordinator will work closely with Order Mgt., Plants Warehousing, Fulfillment Centers (DC) and our Carriers to ensure loads are scheduled and planned in a timely manner.

Applicant must be located near one of or Distribution Centers in the following areas: Ohio, Georgia, or Nebraska.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

* Coordinate with Order Management, Distribution Centers & Carrier Partners to facilitate on time product delivery to customers
* Execute load tender process in accordance with route guide parameters, facilitating utilization of best service & cost
* Assist in daily shipment planning process
* Assist in the development and continuous improvement of transportation SOP's to create efficiencies and improve customer satisfaction
* Exception management - research & document service exceptions and provide insight on trends
* Researching root causes on late shipments
* Self-motivated, must be able to perform tasks independently
* Assist management in root cause analysis by providing detailed information behind carrier non-compliance
* Develop good relationships with our carrier partner dispatchers both Asset, Brokerage Providers as well as other 3PL partners
* Ability to handle multiple tasks
* Ensure Shipment Status is Accurate in TMS
* Ensure proper protocol for frontline email communication
* Identify and Log any known errors in the tendering strategy
* Review Daily Delinquent Load Report and Shipment Status Report by DC and troubleshoot until resolved

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

* High school diploma

* 3 - 5 years of experience in transportation or warehousing environment
* Good email Communication
* Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

* Bachelor degree

* Experience with TMS
