Molex Busbar, a busbar power division of Molex, is seeking to add two Quality Technicians to their team. We are looking for both a 1st shift tech (6am-2:30pm M-F) and a 2nd shift tech (2:30pm-1:00am M-Thurs).

What You Will Do In Your Role


  • Responsible to conduct process audits and product inspections to ensure quality requirements are being followed.

  • Provides production operators with guidance on quality acceptance criteria.

  • Reviews line rejections and document NCM's.

  • Aid in the Investigation of root causes of line rejections.

  • Measures parts and collect data for CPK, GR&R, First Article, PPAPs.

  • Communicates quality alerts to the production areas and execute containment actions.

  • Train production operators in the correct use of gages and correct filling of quality records.

  • Ensures test equipment is calibrated and working correctly.

  • Issues Certificates of Compliance.

  • Sort/ Inspect parts as needed.

    The Experience You Will Bring

    Requirements:


    • 2 years of related experience.

    • Experience inspecting products or auditing processes.

    • Ability to interpret specifications and drawings.

    • Microsoft systems (Excel, Word, and Outlook).

    • Demonstrated ability to use micrometers, height gages, optical comparator.

    • Analytical, team player, hands-on.

    What Will Put You Ahead


    • 2-5 years related experience as quality technician.

    • Some college or technical training preferred

    • Virtek and CMM is a plus.

    • Basic GD&T
