Description

• Upon receipt of work order or oral instructions, loads, unloads, and moves materials/containers within or near plant, yard, and work site


• Must be able to drive forklift, skip loader, bobcat, articulating boom lift and tractor trailers within the plant yard


• Must be able to handle 120 pound jack hammer for breaking concrete


• Work with cement/cement finishing


• Load and unload material from railroad cars, pallets, trays, boxes, and other containers


• Clean/wash work area, machines, vehicles and/or equipment


• Shovel loose material into machine hoppers, vehicles or pit


• Operate industrial truck or electric hoist to assist in loading or moving materials and products


• Operate processing equipment as instructed


• Complete equipment checklist to ensure proper operation of vehicles


• Interact with others in a professional and ethical manner


• Follow department and company procedures


• Keep up regular attendance and punctuality; regular attendance and punctuality are essential for the smooth operation of this company


• Other duties as assigned

Position Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent


• Must have valid driver's license and acceptable MVR (Motor Vehicle Record)


• Must be able to operate pallet jack, back hoe loader and bobcat steer loader


• Prior forklift and jackhammer experience desirable


• The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds


• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time


• Must be able to operate 120 pound jackhammer


• Must be able to work overtime if requested


• Must maintain regular attendance and punctuality
