Overview



Intrepid Solutions is seeking a qualified Information Assurance Specialist to support a new program serving a DoD customer. This effort will provide research, development, assessment, adaption, transformation, testing, integration, demonstration, transition, fielding, sustainment, and enhancement of the designated information and/or intelligence software systems with Multi-Domain Operations (MDO) warfighting capabilities. A qualified Information Assurance Specialist will meet or exceed the qualifications, and be capable of performing the duties, listed below:

Responsibilities

• Working on Risk Management Framework (RMF) Certification and Accreditation Testing and Validation process of applications software and computer systems for cloud platforms (e.g. AWS and Azure).
• Performing technical work in RMF-compliant Information Assurance, including analyzing and solving Information Assurance (IA)-related technical problems;
• Developing, maintaining, and enforcing Information System (IS) security and policies.
• Performing vulnerability/risk analyses of systems using expertise in relevant information systems security, systems and network administration. Experience with Intrusion Prevention/Detection systems, network monitoring, syslog, encryptors, and other cybersecurity tool families.

OPERATING HOURS AND EXPECTATIONS:

• This is a Full Time position, with standard operating hours to be discussed during the interview process.
• It is anticipated that this position will operate 100% onsite, unless otherwise determined.

TRAVEL:

• Position may require some travel.

Qualifications




CLEARANCE:

• Active Top Secret / SCI. ***TS/SCI required upon application for initial consideration. This position is not open for any clearance upgrades, reactivation, or sponsorship.***

EDUCATION:

• Required,Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science with minimum of seven (7) years of experience.

CERTIFICATION(S):

• Active Information Assurance Technical (IAT) level III and Information Assurance Management (IAM) level III certifications, required.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in working on Risk Management Framework (RMF) Certification and Accreditation Testing and Validation process of applications software and computer systems for cloud platforms (e.g. AWS and Azure).
• Familiar with DoD network security practices and Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).
• Understanding of encryption technologies including Hardware Security Modules (HSMs).
