Job Description:

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES


  • Evaluate and document the data needs of various stakeholders within SOLV and identify where that data resides within the various systems within SOLV with a primary focus on financial data

  • Formalize data requirements and work with existing technology platform vendors to explain the data needs and extract the data

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders within SOLV and SOLV's software development team to create dashboards, reports, and other data models to present the data in an easy to use and meaningful way that allows the teams to more efficiently manage and analyze the health of the business

  • Analyze the data being collected to advise key stakeholders on observations seen in the data to improve reporting, profitability, standardization, and process

  • Communicate and interact with the Division Controller to answer and clarify Operation questions. Furthermore, to analyze and present processes suggested by the accounting department to the operation team and help on the implementation of these processes

  • Provide financial analysis of project profitability and cost and revenue trending

  • Collaborate with SOLV's Project Management team to ensure that the data in SOLV's ERP system is accurate and reduce incorrect our outdated legacy data

  • Collaborate with SOLV's Business Analyst to analyze operational business processes

  • Collaborate with SOLV's Business Analyst on technical requirements from the Operations Team for new technology and platforms that align with business goals and objectives that support the data models needed by the teams

  • Collaborate with Project Management team to analyze budget anomalies and possible revenue enhancements based on data analysis to improve profitability of the projects

  • Work with key internal stakeholders to identify industry trends that could impact current data analytics, technology applications and reporting. Participate in project review's and business planning activities

  • Support the implementation of business applications and ongoing feature development, align feature requests with business priorities and budgeting

  • Support SOLV's Business Manager in assisting Project Management team resolving issues and responding to questions regarding SOLV's existing ERP system

  • Provide ongoing reporting to SOLV Management team.

  • Other responsibilities as assigned

MINIMUM SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE


  • Bachelor's degree strongly desired but not required, verifiable experience may be considered in lieu of degree

  • Minimum of 2 years project management experience preferred

  • Proven experience in analyzing data and extracting actionable information

  • Proven experience managing multiple projects within multidisciplinary teams required

  • Uses resources effectively and efficiently while orchestrating multiple activities at once

  • Escalation and conflict resolution skills desirable

  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills

  • Proficient use of Microsoft office tools including but not limited to Word, Excel, Outlook, and Sharepoint

  • Experience using team collaboration and task management tools such as MS Teams
