Job Description

This position is contingent upon contract award.

Torch Technologies is seeking experienced candidates to join a multi-disciplinary team to design, develop, manage, and support computer software for Intelligence Mission Data (IMD) in support of Scientific and Technical Intelligence (S&TI) missions. Candidates will interface software with internal data systems, document interoperability solutions, and perform studies in support of program management offices. Preferred candidates have experience using or developing one or more of the following programs

• Electronic Warfare Integrated Reprogramming Database (EWIRDB)


• Next Generation EWIRDB Systems (NGES)


• Military Equipment Parametrics and Engineering Database (MEPED)


• Modernized Integrated Database (MIDB)


• Machine-Assisted Analysis Rapid-Repository System (MARS)


• Electronic Order-of-Battle (EOB)


• Defensive Missile Order-of-Battle (DMOB).

Candidates must be able to develop and apply advanced methods, theories and research techniques in the investigation and solution of complex and advanced software applications and problems. Candidates will examine and develop solutions for data extraction and management and will assist IMD mission managers with planning initiatives and production requirements in coordination across the IMD community. The successful candidates must possess a strong foundation in hardware/software tool development, systems engineering, data mining, analysis, and knowledge-management systems.

Job Requirements

BS degree or higher in engineering (EE, AE, ME, CPE) from an accredited university is required with experience in exploitation, analysis, characterization, databases, information dissemination, modeling, or simulation highly preferred. Candidate must have12 years of related experience.

The work site is at customer facilities on Redstone Arsenal, AL. Position is contingent on contract award and requires that candidate obtain and maintain a Top-Secret security clearance in order to access classified information systems. Inability to obtain or maintain a security clearance will result in candidate being ineligible for this position. Some travel may be required for this position.
