The Ultra Supply Chain function manages the processes associated with Indirect and Direct Procurement of goods and materials required to meet the operational demands of the business and the logistics of ensuring that materials are available for operations, and the completed products/services are delivered to the customer.

The Materials team is growing and expanding our role in overseeing and managing the operation. Now we need to add the right candidate - someone with the right skills and drive - to help us succeed. Job Description:Providing purchasing and production support in line with the needs and goals of the company and our customers.Daily activities are largely centered on the continuing support of operations. Planning responsibilities involve the initiation of shop orders in line with the master schedule, monitoring the progress of production with an eye toward achieving a high rate of on-time delivery, and ensuring the completion of shop orders to meet financial requirements. Purchasing will primarily support shop order release schedules, though all of our buyers handle other purchases - to include CAPEX, VMI programs, and general factory requisitions. We require full ownership of the purchasing process - from requisition to delivery with the appropriate levels of supply chain interaction and oversight to ensure all customer goals are met.Success in this role and for the team will be rooted in the ability of the candidate to be effective and efficient while dealing with a wide array of challenges every day. Composure and a propensity for problem solving will be key as we redevelop our team's skills and plan for success in the future.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related discipline.

  • 1+ years experience in a business field, preferably in a purchasing role.

  • Strong organization and communication skills are a must.

Desired Skills:

  • Strong computer and technology skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel, Word, Outlook, and Powerpoint

  • Previous experience purchasing and planning in the microelectronics arena.

  • Ability to understand and procure to mechanical and source controlled drawings.

  • Some experience overseeing or participating in microelectronic assembly is a plus.

  • Prior use of the IFS ERP system is an advantage.

  • Support of production monitoring will require some movement between departments on two floors.

  • Ability to analyze performance of the supply chain and production and provide feedback to management.

  • Strong problem solving abilities and the desire to work in a diverse team are key.
