As a GDA, you will guide organizations to create an aspirational plan that formalizes their digital vision. Your ability to develop trusted relationships with business leaders, to help them think about their business and customers in the context of digital outcomes and collaborate on a vision to achieve more.


What does a Global Digital Advisor do?

  • Engage with C-level executives at our most strategic customers or prospects

  • Position Unisys as a thought leader and preferred business partner

  • Work with our customers to reimagine their business, create their digital business strategy, and develop a roadmap to realize the associated business value through a managed services partnership with Unisys

  • Align to and provide support to client and deal teams to get managed services deals closed

  • Enable Continuous Innovation - You ensure that the organization creates an ongoing capability that will continue the digital transformation process throughout the company.

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of professional experience in a major business consultancy group (EX: Accenture Digital, McKinsey, CapGemini Digital etc.).

  • 5+ years of C-Level business development.

  • 2+ years of experience and success in digital Innovation including new business models. .

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Our Global Digital Advisors know their customer's business, the industry in which they operate, and how Unisys can help them drive their Digital transformation.

    The broad scope of responsibility of this role requires a solid capability in business development (see and structure the deal), consulting (put steps in place to get to the deal), sales (sell the deal).

    In addition, this role requires strong leadership and people skills. The Global Digital Advisors share a common set of characteristics and bring the experience that will drive innovation and customer value leveraging the following:

    • 10+ years of professional experience in a major business consultancy

    • Broad understanding of the industry, including current and emerging Digital Solutions, and experience managing large scale business change programs within one or more vertical industries (i.e., Financial Services, Life Sciences/Healthcare, Manufacturing, Public Sector).

    • Executive presence, including ability to hold CXO level discussions, and executive-level, exceptional interpersonal, verbal, written and presentation skills

    • Ability to generate trust, build alliances, and orchestrate interdisciplinary teams to the benefit of customers.

    • Track record of turning key relationships into durable "paid" engagements or contracts for solutions and/or services.

    • Situational awareness to adapt and solve challenges from a business and technology perspective.

    • Ability to balance strategic thinking with pragmatic operational execution and delivery, including the coordination of relevant resources.

    • Consistent record of delivering business value, by bringing the benefits of technology to transform their business.

    • Ability to conceptualize, launch and plan the delivery of digital-enabled business change projects.

    • Passion for technology, business, market trends and, specifically, the Customer

    • Business development experience of structuring, negotiating and supporting complex deals (both at customer and internally).

    • Ability to become an advocate for Unisys' vision and value proposition, and diverse offerings, by conceptualizing, planning and leading implementation/adoption of Unisys solutions and services.

    • Recognized innovator with strong storytelling abilities to inspire growth mindset for the teams and the customers.

    • Travel is an integral expectation of this position as the needs of our customers and our business demand, must be willing to travel at least 50% of the time.
