This position is not open for non-immigrant visa sponsorship.</p></br><strong>Job Responsibilities</strong><ul>\n<li>Supervise and manage contract labor on centrifugal and reciprocating machinery overhauls, repairs, and inspections</li>\n<li>Analyze and interpret PdM and Condition Monitoring data for exceptions</li>\n<li>Utilize reliability data to determine scope of overhaul and repairs</li>\n<li>Direct and oversee vendor shop repairs as necessary to ensure proper procedures and inspections are followed and performed</li>\n<li>Write job plans for repairs and inspections for all types of machinery, such as pumps, compressors, steam turbines, expanders, and blowers</li>\n<li>Assist planner by providing technical input into the planning process. This may include but is not limited to manpower estimation, material estimates, and possible repair techniques</li>\n<li>Record the necessary work history information in the CMMS at the completion of jobs</li>\n<li>Work with all ALA and contractor crafts to make certain the jobs are completed on schedule and of acceptable quality</li>\n<li>Good housekeeping practices and monitoring of contractors foreign material exclusion practices</li>\n<li>Tools are to be kept in good condition, organized, and ensure all tools requiring inspections are in compliance</li>\n<li>Participate in Reliability Improvement Processes such as: RCFA, FMEA, and RCM as required</li>\n<li>Monitor job performance metrics and act to make improvement</li>\n<li>Lead and participate in compressor design improvements and performance</li>\n<li>Stay current with industry standards and best practices related to turbomachinery</li>\n<li>Provide technical support on troubleshooting turbomachinery problems and provide recommendations for repair</li>\n<li>Work closely with OEM's and contractors on repairs and improvement projects</li>\n<li>Ensure quality of work performed by contractors</li>\n<li>Insure oxygen cleanness and compatibility is maintained if required</li>\n<li>Act as go between for operations and contractors paying close attention to equipment isolation, proper permitting, identifying hazards in close proximity to the work site, and ensuring both parties are informed of repair actions/status.</li>\n</ul></br><strong>Required Qualifications</strong><ul>\n<li>High School Diploma or equivalent</li>\n<li>10 yrs + in centrifugal and reciprocating machinery maintenance and repair activities</li>\n<li>Proficient in the use of the CMMS system</li>\n<li>Excellent planning and organizational skills</li>\n<li>Excellent supervisory skills</li>\n<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li>\n<li>Thorough knowledge in the operation of compression equipment</li>\n<li>Excellent project management skills</li>\n<li>Comply with all company and government regulations</li>\n</ul></br>","title":"Compressor Specialist","datePosted":"2021-07-21T00:00:00-05:00","@context":"http://schema.org/"}
