Description

Serve as an on-site intermediate security analyst for the Missile Defense Agency. Responsible for orchestrating day to day client delivery for the Emergency Management division. Provide client interface and report to clients and senior contractor and government team leadership. Must be capable to work in a team environment.

Duties and Responsibilities


  • Conduct system alert operational tests updates and provide executive E-Alert update summary of results, as required.

  • Create and maintain a library for hazard and security alert notifications. Prepare, coordinate, and secure approval revisions to existing and/or new pre-scripted messages.

  • Develop an E-Alert System training plan; conduct quarterly training sessions via video- teleconference to multiple locations. Generate training materials that provide information on unique E-Alert system policies, processes, and best practices. Provide materials for training, including using the DS Directorate, VIPC for reproduction requirements. Coordinate with DOH and provide documentation for participants to receive training credit. Update materials based on feedback from training sessions.

  • Develop new or update existing hazard exercises compliant with Emergency Management and COOP program. Coordinate and secure approval of exercise materials. Conduct Test, Training and Exercise (TT&E) program events (e.g., evacuation drills and shelter-in-place exercises) and recommend improvements based on results.

  • Maintain a log of emergency situations as they occur and routinely provide status updates. Log may be computer generated or hand annotated based on the situation.

  • Serve as Regional Emergency Management Liaison and support the Occupant Emergency Coordinator at Agency headquarters.




Position Requirements

Required Skills (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities)


  • Experience in a security role embedded within the arena of complex weapons systems design, fielding or deployment.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Excellent office software skills

  • Excellent competency with the Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe

Years of Experience/Education Requirements


  • 7 years of relevant experience

  • BA/BS in related field or an addiational 5 years of experience
