Job Description:

POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for taking reservations and maintaining reservation log. This includes properly spacing reservations and recording specified guest information. Also responsible assisting patrons and guests in a pleasant and courteous manner.

MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENTS: 21 Years of Age

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Maintain reservation systems and coordinates with Servers and Supervisor on top-level customer service for guests.

2. Greet guests upon arrival in a friendly manner an upbeat and positive attitude and scripted greeting.

3. Escort guests to table in a timely manner.

4. Courteously answer telephone calls and answer or direct calls properly.

5. Assist patrons with questions or inquiries regarding the facility operations and daily promotions.

6. Complete transactions for to-go orders

7. Responsible for keeping work area clean and neat.

8. Report to Shift Supervisor/manager any problems or guest complaints.

9. Must assist patrons in answering questions and direct them to areas of safety during emergencies as instructed by management, security or senior crewmembers.

10. Assure exceptional customer service to all patrons by communicating in a pleasant, friendly, and professional manner at all times.

11. Assist servers and bartenders as needed with cleaning and assisting guests.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Physical - Must be able to:

1. Use a computerized reservation system and operate a micros terminal.

2. Have manual dexterity.

3. Write clearly and legibly

4. Be mobile throughout entire restaurant area/all floors.

5. See - to handle comp and coupon transactions.

6. Hear - to answer patrons' questions. Can be augmented by a hearing aid.

7. Climb steps repeatedly.

Mental - Must be able to:

1. Read all reports, memos, schedules, credit card transactions and correspondence.

2. Know basic math skills.

3. Speak.

4. Understand and comply with Policies and Procedures, job description, daily memorandum and other instructions.

5. Must be able to work under stressful conditions.

Qualifications:

PREREQUISITES/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.

GAMING:

Must have the ability to hold an Occupational License as required by the Illinois Gaming Board.
