Key Energy Services located in Odessa, TX has an immediate opportunity for a Pump Operator.
 
 
Job Summary:
 
Under direct supervision, this position is responsible for assisting with rigging up and rigging down of cementing service equipment on locations. The incumbent will also assist in operating pump equipment and completion of paperwork.
RESPONSIBILITIES:   

• Assists with operations and services provided in the field related to cementing services.


• Assists with rigging up and rigging down of cementing equipment on location including monitoring equipment and spotting of storage vessels.


• Assists with pre-job calculations related to all aspects of cement job


• Assists in the operation of equipment which may include: cement pumping and mixing equipment, blenders, liquid additive metering systems, centrifugal pumps, density controls systems, and storage systems.


• Performs other related duties as assigned.

QUILIFICATIONS:

• Ability to effectively communicate with people within and outside of the company.


• Ability to problem solve.


• Ability to lead or provide guidance to crew members to work safely and efficiently.


• Multi-tasking skills and basic problem solving, and organizational skills preferred.


• Valid commercial driver license (CDL) with clean driving record required


• Basic knowledge of math concepts

Education Requirements:
 
High school diploma, GED, or the equivalent is preferred.
