OBJECTIVES
Ultimate objective: as Business Partner providing accurate financial statements of all areas of the plants and or functional areas, providing recommendations for improvement.
Main focus: translate the guidelines of the BU and site Manager into the site and or functional budget, monitor compliance of budget versus actual, detect anomalies in operations or alterations in finance metrics (budget overruns, inaccurate inventory valuation) that could affect the company's profitability.

ACTIVITY
PROVIDE FINANCIAL STATEMENTS, CONTROL AND ALERT ON DISCREPANCIES, MAKE RECOMMENDATIONS AND PLAY AN ACTIVE ROLE ON THE FOLLOWING AREAS:
INDUSTRIAL INVESTMENT - control project expenses in close coordination with the engineering department, validate the project structure, control the data allocation, contribute to put into service the final asset in close coordination with fixed assets accounting, organize the fixed-assets inventories.
FLASH - provide Flash elements (fixed costs and yield variance) to the BU per reporting schedule.
BUDGET AND YEAR-END FORECAST - organize the site budget process, prepare costing data for next year (calculate activity rates, validate BOMs and routings, analyze standard cost run for the plant), build the Y+1 fixed costs budget (cost centers hierarchy, headcount, payroll, maintenance costs, etc.), define allocation key for common expenses, analyze Y+1 fixed costs evolution versus year-end-forecast, provide the BU a detailed presentation.
FINANCIAL STATEMENT - present to the site Managers all site financial statements, provide a monthly financial report to Operations/ Finance Manager - Operations, Finance Manager - BU and BOA, answer all requested justification regarding site financial elements to external auditors.
INSURANCE - participate in the evaluation of the fixed assets of the sites for the Insurance Direction, participate in the evaluation of the accruals to book in case of an insurance claim.
