CONMED is seeking an Associate Product Manager to support upstream marketing efforts related to the Orthopedic AED side of its business. The role will be focused on supporting CONMED's Resection, Fluids, and RF businesses. The individual will be part of the orthopedic upstream product management team and will have an opportunity to directly impact the achievement of CONMED's global strategic goals. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented individual with experience in marketing and healthcare with focus on successful global commercialization of products through short and long-term strategic projects.
Duties and Responsibilities:
In conjunction with Senior Upstream Product Manager, develop the portfolio strategic roadmap for new product introduction
Collaborate with Downstream Marketing, R&D, Finance, Operations, and Sales to facilitate strategic initiatives and set priorities
Work directly with KOLs to identify current market/product problems and solutions
In conjunction with Downstream Marketing prepare and support activities for new product launches
Collect sound market research data to support conclusions, recommendations, trends, market changes, in order to prepare strategic opportunities for growth of the orthopedic AED portfolio
Attend major conventions to meet with both external and internal stakeholders
Desired Skills and experience
2+ years related experience in successful marketing and/or sales roles in the medical device industry
Bachelor's degree in engineering, marketing, business, or other related discipline; MBA preferred
Clear understanding of marketing principles, superior project management skills and excellent communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Strong analytical skills
Ability to work efficiently with a multidisciplinary team
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of products (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Ability to multitask in a high-paced environment
Up to 30% domestic travel
