Gallagher Services provides care for the adults with intellectual and development disabilities, who reside in one of our programs throughout Baltimore County, Baltimore City Harford County and, Anne Arundel County.  

We are currently looking for a DSP Residential-Direct Support Professional. The hours for this position are the following:

• Sunday: 9am - 9pm


• Monday - Thursday:  3:00pm - 10:00pm

 Gallagher services is seeking a DSP- Residential Direct Support Professional who is devoted, dependable, compassionate and patient, who have the desire to work with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities in a Residential setting.

The DSP- Residential Direct Support Professional will provide daily care to adults with intellectual and development disabilities. Our employees assist the individuals in accomplishing the following; independent living skills, planning activities in the home and community, and providing appropriate physical and emotional care to individuals to promote growth and development. 

This position will require the following:

• High School Diploma


• 
  

  Driving (Agency and/or personal vehicle) is required for this position.  Driver must be at least 21 years of age, with a minimum of 2 years of driving experience, and a valid driver’s license issued by the state of residence.   There can be no state issued restrictions on the licenses that would impede driver’s ability to operate the vehicle as required by the Agency, and there must not be more than three (3) points on their driving record.

  
  


• Medication Certification by an approved DDA course must be obtained within three months of hire


• One year experience in ID/DD or related field
