Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist - Civil Engineering

Location: REMOTE

Garver seeks a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to initiate and execute strategic talent acquisition efforts as company-wide staffing needs increase for experienced Team Leaders, Project Managers, Engineers, and other technical staff.

What you'll do:

As part of Garver's Recruitment Team, the Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist will partner with hiring managers and internal clients to manage key talent needs. In addition, the Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist will work towards ensuring an optimal candidate experience and provide first-class customer service to internal and external clients.

Other primary responsibilities will include:

• Partnering with hiring managers to forecast and develop plans for key staffing initiatives


• Advising hiring managers on labor market conditions and market compensation ranges


• Assertively initiate contact with passive candidates for Garver openings and opportunity hires, and maintain candidate pipelines


• Screening potential candidates via phone interviews and/or in person


• Utilizing internal applicant tracking system to review applications and maintain candidate progress


• Administrative duties, such as coordinating candidate interviews, pre-screening assessments, assist in the creation of offer letters, and other logistical related items


• Building networks and talent pools in new and existing markets for desirable skill sets through sourcing and relationship building


• Develop and maintain relationships with key hiring individuals within Garver


• Ensuring compliance with all federal/state laws and regulations, including affirmative action plan compliance

Secondary responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with college recruiting and other recruiting events as needed


• Providing support for recruitment projects and analytics

Travel is likely,as needed,with advance notice.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or commensurate experience


• 5+ years of professional recruiting experience


• 2+ years of Civil Engineering specific recruiting experience


• Experience with using social media, i.e., LinkedIn and/or job boards for recruitment purposes


• A service-minded mentality, ability to self-motivate, strong organization, and attention to detail are necessary in this role


• Ability to demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills
