Summary of Major Responsibilities

The Digital Product Manager owns the vision, strategy, and roadmap for a range of users. This position ensures that business, user, and technology needs are met through continuous analysis, iterating, solutioning, and delivery.

The Digital Product Manager lives and breathes UX, product, and technology and can fluctuate between those spaces. This position solves hard problems and understands that a good solution is valuable, viable, usable, and feasible and also sometimes a compromise. The Digital Product Manager loves to innovate, is not afraid to fail, and knows when to say no or pivot. This position enjoys both the strategic work of finding the best solution and the implementation work of how best to bring it to life for maximum impact.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    Understand and prioritize problems, opportunities, and solutions into a continuous product roadmap, strategy, and vision, leveraging data, research, industry trends, and business unit objectives.
  • Translate complex user, business, operational, and technical requirements into clear epics, features, and stories, to drive agile and iterative development.

  • Work closely with UX, software engineering, enterprise architecture, and the business to shape a cohesive, creative, and innovative solution that is intuitive, delightful, and impactful.

  • Work with both the Thrive and Exact digital teams to align, influence, and plan solutions that are scalable at the enterprise level.

  • Research and synthesize user needs and support the creation of user journeys.

  • Ability to leverage relationship building, motivation, and curiosity to bring together different personalities for creative thinking and collaborative solutioning.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills with a proactive and logical approach to workload and ability to work both independently and within a team.

  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to evolve product strategy based on research, data, and industry trends.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Uphold company mission and values through accountability, innovation, integrity, quality, and teamwork.

  • Ability to work on a mobile device, tablet, or in front of a computer screen and/or perform typing for approximately 90% of a typical working day.

  • Ability to work on a computer and phone simultaneously.

  • Ability to travel up to 15% of working time away from work location, may include overnight/weekend travel.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications


  • Bachelor's Degree in field as outlined in the essential duties; or High School Diploma/General Education Degree (GED) and 4+ years of experience in field as outlined in the essential duties.

  • 3+ years of working on technology-powered products as either a product manager, product designer, engineer, data analyst, data scientist, or user researcher.

  • Demonstrated ability applying techniques and methods of modern product management, product discovery, and product delivery.

  • Demonstrated ability to drive product vision, strategic roadmaps, and go-to-market strategy for digital products as part of a broader end-to-end user experience.

  • Demonstrated ability to learn multiple functional areas of a business.

  • Proven ability to engage with engineers, designers, researchers, SMEs, and company leaders in a constructive and collaborative relationship where you can both learn and influence.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams to deliver amazing products/services.

  • Strong understanding principles of Agile/Scrum/Kanban.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.

  • Demonstrated ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation.

  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience with brainstorming solutions to hard problems with many constraints, using sound judgement to assess problems, opportunities, and risks, to lay out a well-structured business case.

  • Experience in healthcare, wellness, or digital health.

  • Experience with service design and operations.

  • Experience with A/B testing, user testing, user interviews, and conversions funnels.

  • Experience with agile transformation.

  • Understanding of user experience and human centered design.

  • Strong business analysis skills; including, but not limited to, process and user flow definition and business KPIs.

  • Strong leadership skills, including the ability to influence multiple stakeholders and leaders without direct authority.

  • Proficient in digital analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics, Tableau, Google Analytics, etc., A/B testing tools such as AB Tasty, Optimizely, MoEngage, etc., and/or design tools such as Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch, etc.
