Responsibilities

 

• Supervision of hourly employees, training and orientation of new employees, and the scheduling of work for employees


• Learn, develop and perform in a safety oriented and team driven environment


• Assist with the company’s safety program to ensure a safe, healthy, and accident-free work environment


• Gain understanding of workflow, employee relations and processes through hands-on experience with production equipment and working with management team


• Coordinate and adjust schedules as needed to reflect changes in production, customer requirements, etc.


• Analyze and evaluate production schedule to estimate work requirements for completion of jobs. 


• Planning department operations


• Contribute to process improvement and Lean Manufacturing initiatives


• Ensure all employees follow operation standards and working practices developed by management


• Actively pursue learning objectives and seek additional opportunities for growth and development

 

Qualifications

 

• First and foremost- a desire to learn our industry and progress into future leadership roles with a willingness to re-locate for the right leadership opportunity.


• Four (4) year degree, technical degree preferred


• Previous leadership experience is a plus


• Ability to develop a thorough understanding & demonstration of all manufacturing and engineering processes and procedures


• Developed PC skills w/ MS Word, Excel & PPT


• Strong written and oral communication skills


• Demonstrated problem-solving ability


• Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment


• Must have ability to multi task
