Business Analyst - Commercial Real Estate Technology at JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A. in Seattle, Washington

As a member of our Commercial Real Estate Technology team, you'll play a crucial role in identifying, improving, and developing technology solutions that drive our strategic goals. This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:


  • BS/BA degree in computer science or information systems or equivalent experience
  • Strong analytical skills, creativity, excellent communication skills
  • Comfortable working with data and knowledgeable about data modeling concepts
  • Ability to liaison between lines of business and the development team, while working with a wide range of stakeholders and collaborating with your team
  • Ability to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals

Requirements :


  • 2+ years working in a similar role
  • 2+ years documenting technical business requirements and working as part of a development team, including these types of artifacts:

    • Process Flow Diagrams
    • Personas
    • User Stories
    • Domain models
    • Wireframes
    • Use Cases

  • Strong experience working with the following toolsets:

    • Microsoft Office
    • Wireframing software similar to Mockups, Figma, Sketch, Axure, or Justinmind
    • Confluence or similar wiki pages
    • JIRA or similar software requirement tracking software

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience

    Preferred Skills :


    • Experience with commercial real estate or a similar real estate industry
    • Experience in the Financial Services business domain, which may include mortgage/loan, payments, credit and other related business transactions
    • Experience with collaborating with partnering teams and individuals to accomplish common goals
    • Experience with using Agile with Scrum to work within your development team
    • Working understanding of the following technical concepts:

      • Database theory and normalization
      • Application architecture patterns and demands of each layer in an enterprise web application
      • Synchronous vs. asynchronous processing
      • System integration principles and interfaces
      • Basic coding languages and techniques (e.g. For Loop, Case Statements, Do Until, Variables)
