In the mission-critical role of Regional Sales Manager, you will be working through Distributors and Representatives to maintain current sales with existing and potential end-user customers in various markets including chemical, semi-conductor, pulp and paper, marine, and water for the Amresist product range of butterfly and ball valves, and associated accessories. Scope of responsibilities include:
Focus on increasing brand recognition, end-user acceptance, and market share with new and existing customers.
Coordinate the efforts and activities of internal and external sales teams to maximize both day to day and project related results.
Utilize and maintain CRM database to ensure records, including end user contacts, sales call notes, and quoted opportunities, are accurate and up to date.
Support management objectives in meeting annual sales budgets for revenue while keeping expenses and overhead within budget as applicable.
Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and market changes.
Assist in developing sales and marketing plans with the Amresist management team.
Adhere to and enforce all company policies.
Complete all routine weekly/monthly reports as necessary to ensure effective information distribution and strong channels of communication.
Travel in territory is 50%

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
5 + years of experience selling manual and automated butterfly valves
Experience in managing distributors and direct sales channels

Ability to coach, train and develop people, bringing out the best in them
Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
Familiar with CRM account and opportunity management programs
