Maintain electronic databases of inspections and maintenance of Fleet vehicles
Be directly involved with engineering, procurement, and technology groups to ensure DOT concerns are addressed when purchasing company vehicles
Conduct Audits on Driver Qualification (DQ) files, Hours of Service (HOS) logs, Driver Vehicle Inspection Report's (DVIR), out of service, and vehicle maintenance logs to confirm accuracy and completeness
Ensure all state and federal motor vehicle regulatory requirements are met by company.
Coordinate with the HR department and 3rd Party Vendor on DOT required drug testing to ensure compliance with regulations and customer requirements
Train and monitor district road test facilitators and conduct other training as needed
Directly supervise DOT/HSE advisor(s). Assign tasks and provide guidance to district operations
Oversee company driver qualification program ensuring drivers are fully trained and in compliance with all regulations
Create, review and control Universal driving standards and associated training presentations, support materials
Maintain, update, and implement driver requirements per current DOT regulations
Define internal metrics and targets corresponding to company objectives and regularly communicate status
Review and analyze internal and external company metrics constructing action plans to meet targets
Manage continued deployment of Universal DOT Compliance policies and procedures
Provide answers and responses to questions and concerns on DOT regulations, including conducting research, as required
Review and support internal and external audits and follow-up on corrective actions if necessary
Manage company hazmat transportation compliance including creation and maintenance of hazmat employee training and shipping papers
Direct activities within company Road Test Program
Oversee compliance with company Bus/Van Driver Program
Administrate company Fleet management systems
Participate in industry groups, conferences, and seminars
Maintain electronic databases of sales, registration inspection and maintenance of fleet

Proficiency in HSE auditing, incident investigation, and documentation techniques
Ability to work under time-sensitive deadlines while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor when adversity and multiple initiatives/priorities are encountered

Excellent verbal and written communication skills which include the ability to speak, write and listen in a manner that clarifies issues, promotes closure and delivers information in a clear and concise manner and facilitates good decision-making is required
Possess advanced computer skills in Microsoft (MS) Office and working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Ability to travel as needed to other offices and well sites, occasionally requiring extended travel to remote locations and/or overnight stay(s) outside normal office area

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree OR Certificate of Completion from an accredited school with 3+ years' experience in a Fleet/Asset Management, DOT regulation advisor, or related role; OR High school diploma or GED certificate with 5+ years' experience in a Fleet/Asset Management, DOT regulation advisor, or related role
2+ years' experience in supervisory/managerial role
Must have and maintain valid state-issued driver's license, be eligible to drive a Company vehicle and meet the requirements of the Company's vehicle program, policy and/or guidelines
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the Oil & Gas industry
Experience with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR) and/or DOT/Commercial Driver's License (CDL) hours of service logs
