Job Description:

Overview

The Intern will demonstrate that they have acquired the competencies for the internship program and that they are ready to apply and further develop these skills during the internship period. Internships are undertaken by students who are at or near the end of a preparatory academic program. The Internships are work-based activities in which students engage in learning through practical and relevant experiences at various internship sites. These structured experiences involve the practical application of previously studied theory through course work. Internship assignments are subject to supervisory capacity and there is no guarantee of placement.

Requirements

To be considered for an internship at Lakeview Center, a candidate:

• Must currently be enrolled as a student in a public or accredited private academic institution.


• Candidates must possess strong oral and written communication skills,


• The ability to follow directions and ask questions for clarification of topic.
