Our Austin, TX studio has an exciting opportunity for a talented Interior Designer. Our ideal candidate will be a motivated individual with some experience in Healthcare or Higher Education design and a desire to keep learning. Candidates should have knowledge and abilities in space planning, construction documentation, material selections, and strong technical skills in Revit. Position Purpose/Summary

The purpose of this position is to assist in the completion of client projects by planning and implementing the design solutions for interior design.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities


  • Design standards, local codes and guidelines are met for quality documents

    • Responsible for creating, planning, and assist with managing interior design projects.

    • Maintain constant professional communications with client, project team, and consultants.

    • Document projects via construction documents and specifications effectively, and in accordance with established design standards as well as those set by official governing agencies.

    • Develop an optimal design solution for the project that meets the client’s needs and represents the company’s standard quality of design.



  • Multi-discipline coordination

    • Assists with coordination of design document preparation across all disciplines.

    • Develop a schedule of integrated tasks required to accomplish individual projects. Monitor progress toward the deliverable schedule.

    • Assists Senior Designer with all aspects associated with projects including proposals, exhibits, contracts, project budget, and profitability.



  • Technical, visualization, and design communication skills met

    • Coordination with Design Discipline on all projects



  • Pursue certification

    • Continue to develop design skills and pursue opportunities for continued education on topics related to the field of Interior Design.

    • Computer skills required: Microsoft Windows environment, Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint, Excel; Google: Mail, Calendar, Drive, Apps; familiarity with Deltek Vision preferred

      • Graphic Software: InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop
