We currently have an opening for an opening for a Civil Engineer Internship or Co-op for the Fall of 2021 in our Marlborough, Massachusetts office.

Tetra Tech Intern and co-op opportunities are designed to provide actual professional experience to civil engineering students. Our Interns and co-ops are primarily supervised by our engineers who assist with day-to-day questions and prepare the interns and co-ops to solve problems while completing assigned projects or portions of projects.

Tetra Tech provides architecture and engineering services in support of deployed U.S. Army, Navy, and Air Force personnel, as well as allied foreign government agencies. Our engineers and architects deliver facility and utility planning, design, and construction phase services around the world, including remote locations. From buildings and utilities to airfield and waterfront facilities, Tetra Tech's multidisciplinary expertise spans the full range of military installation projects.

International development projects have included feasibility studies, design, retrofitting, and construction of housing for displaced populations, roads, energy solutions, health care facilities, grade schools and universities, water and wastewater infrastructure, wastewater reuse, and disaster relief services.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidates are working towards a degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on site development and infrastructure
• Have a strong interest in international work
• Developing strong AutoCAD skills
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
• Meet quality standards and deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) is preferred
• Due to the clients we serve this position requires US Citizenship or Permanent Residence Card
• Must be able to pass background screening including criminal history, credit check etc.

You may be required drive on an occasional basis for business purposes, to do this, you will need a valid driver's license, pass a motor vehicle record (MVR) background check, and maintain a safe driving record.
