Business Analyst / Project Manager, Client Change

SUMMARY

We are seeking a Business Analyst with deep experience in Project Management. The Client Change Management group works closely with Clients, Technology, Operations, Relationship Management and Product to deliver effective change management from change initiation through to implementation and benefits realization. The group is responsible for program management, project management, and client change as well as business consultancy and business analysis.

DESCRIPTION

As Northern Trust continues to grow and attract complex asset owners with complex requirements, supporting client requests will be integral to growing the business efficiently and fostering a positive relationship with clients. Project work is comprised of various initiatives including strategic direction, client's changes, industry regulations and / or operational efficiency directives.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Acts as the main point of contact and build relationships with clients, in-house technology partners, operational areas, management and product development during the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).

• Create Business Analyst documents: Business Requirements, Current / Future State Process flows, & Test Cases.

• Identify and communicate bespoke client requirements to work with internal business and IT partners to address.

• Create Project Management documentation: Project Plan, Stakeholder Analysis, Issues Log, & Project Governance.

• Facilitate client meetings including producing agendas, status reporting, and document next steps.

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously from beginning to end.

• Work closely with teams across the organization to ensure operational readiness.

• Ensure all escalations are identified and communicated to management appropriately.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

• Ability to own, lead and deliver multiple initiatives to improve the service delivery, efficiency and relationships.

• An effective communicator and facilitator with strong analytical and presentation skills.

• Results oriented, takes initiative to identify areas to add value and executes quickly and effectively.

• Knowledge and demonstrated experience with Project Management tools, deliverables, and reporting.

• Experience identifying key performance indicators, creating dashboards and developing project metrics.

• Experience with Microsoft's suite of tools such as SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and Power BI.

• Basic understanding of institutional investment industry, including markets, instruments, and transactional impact.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of 7 years of experience executing complex initiatives in financial services.

• Solid experience with the full range of communication skills - written and verbal.

• A College or University degree and / or relevant proven work experience is preferred.
