Lead, build and develop the Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) North American program.
Main Responsibilities:
Conduct studies on performance, technical feasibility, and cost for PoE or other alternatives to traditional power and lighting systems for commercial & multi-family buildings (labor and hardware implications in different building segments).
Study market trends and size potential opportunity.
Conduct VoC with relevant stakeholders, users & consumers (leverage Schneider Electric's Digital Buildings front-office knowledge) to identify optimal architecture and differentiating capabilities.
Define the strategic intent, vision, and ambition of the new system.
Identify potential partners by implementing collaboration strategies with well-established corporations and start-ups.
Imagine IoT and software-related future business (including digital services).
Identify the full offer and solution to create a future "Schneider Electric PoE product line" (consisting of wiring devices, sensors, panel components, switches, nodes, drivers, etc.).
Identify mobile apps and software platforms dedicated to PoE architectures, including the potential integration of building management systems.
Develop the value proposition and Schneider Electric's market positioning (pricing, segments, go to market, competitive benchmark, etc.).
Maintain close collaboration with Offer Architects, Buildings & Software Offer Managers, and counterparts in other parts of the world.
Develop business cases considering buy/make/partners scenarios.
Identify real use cases, pilots, POCs to test architectures and innovations (including POCs with partners).
Skills & Competencies:
4-year bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Software Engineering
6 years of post-graduate work experience in the field of energy management, electrical distribution, power networks, etc.
Strong technical foundation, offer application knowledge, codes, and standards (combination of engineering degree and MBA, a plus)
