The Mortgage Banking Custody Senior Operations Associate will perform a wide array of support and leadership functions requiring confidentiality, initiative, attention to detail and commitment. You will possess the ability to interact with internal customers as well as all levels of management. You will need to be familiar with each function performed in the unit and develop the organizational skills to effectively handle the diversity of requests received in a fast-paced environment. Key emphasis shall be placed on regulatory requirements and internal controls to minimize financial, compliance and reputation risk to the firm, as well as, meeting/exceeding established service levels for all functions.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Effective and efficient distribution of work, prioritization and assignment of tasks.
Participation in special projects, system or workflow enhancements and/or improvements as needed.
Provide accurate and timely system documentation of all tasks performed for the collection and reporting of production data.
Knowledge of each individual process flow, ability to perform each task from the departments represented, ordering and maintaining supplies, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to exercise independent judgment and the assertiveness to escalate serious or unique problems to management.

Required
2+ years Mortgage Banking experience
Basic knowledge of Windows XP, MS Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint required
Strong working knowledge Chase Servicing / Production systems is preferred
Strong knowledge of mortgage documents
High School Diploma / GED required
