Fall 2021 FC Dallas Photography Intern at FC Dallas in Frisco, Texas

All internships for FC Dallas and Toyota Stadium & Soccer Center are unpaid internships and must be used to receive college credit from an accredited university. The internships allow the individual to gain valuable experience with a professional organization for their future in the sports, entertainment, and marketing industry. All candidate hours can be flexible to accommodate with your school or work schedule. Some nights, weekends, and holidays will be required.

FC Dallas and Toyota Stadium are looking for a Photography intern to assist the Marketing department. The Photography intern will report to the Creative Manager and assist with the day-to-day objectives of the Marketing department.

What you’ll do:

· Photograph home matches and other club related events.

· Assist the Marketing department on matchdays to coordinate and implement communications initiatives.

· Operate appropriate photographic equipment to capture events and subjects.

· Utilize photo editing software and applications to edit, crop, and enhance photographs.

· For images that will accompany written content, coordinates with Creative Manager to ensure photographs will present a unified message matching the purpose, tone, and audience of the publication.

· Update and maximize a cloud-based photo database.

· Ensure equipment is in proper working order and complete other duties as assigned.

· A passionate, detail-oriented, and hard-working student.

· Able to work independently, take initiative, and maintain a high level of professionalism within a professional sports environment, including media work zones.

· Deadline-driven and can work under pressure while juggling multiple projects simultaneously.

· Required to work a flexible schedule to include some nights, weekends and holidays based on event schedule.

  

Minimum Requirements:

· Must be an active college student.

· Must receive college credit for internship with our company.

· Required to be fully vaccinated prior to start date with FC Dallas this fall.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills.

· Proficient in Photoshop and Lightroom.

· Must possess a robust understanding of digital and social media practices.

· Demonstrated photography and photo editing experience with an online portfolio.

· Proficient in photography techniques, including lighting and camera positioning and operation among others.
