Job Description:

Key Responsibilities / Essential Functions

• Reviews and verifies title, tax, insurance, and other documentation relative to closing transactions for accuracy and completeness.

• Expedites the clearing and curing of any identified document deficiencies.

• Prepares and sends closing packages to ensure closing dates are met.

• Coordinates with loan officers and branch personnel in scheduling loan closings.

• Mails welcome letters and adverse action letters to customers.

• Ensures deeds of trust/mortgages are recorded and liens are placed on vehicles.

• Tracks missing vehicles in vendor system.

• Performs duties related to monetary transactions and indirect contract funding, including check cutting, monetary transfers, balancing, check supply custodial, daily contract funding, daily dealer reserve payoff review, and monthly dealer reserve payout reconciliation.

Your Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Associate degree in business or related field preferred.

• 2+ years of experience in a loan or banking operations role requiring accurate data entry required.

• Thorough knowledge of loan origination, processing, underwriting, and closing guidelines for home equity and consumer loans including vehicle, cash reserves, secured and unsecured loans.

• Knowledge of bank deposit services, loan closing and quality control processes.

• Familiarity with all federal and state banking regulations pertaining to lending and consumer compliance.

• Excellent attention to detail, with excellent computer, communication, and organizational skills.
