If you are a Product Engineer professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you!  Based in our Eden Prairie location, you will be part of the Customer Support organization that includes front-line technical support, working closely with customers on a variety of topics to solve problems. You will use your personal knowledge and ability to build relationships with our worldwide end users. You will also have opportunities to interface with the Emerson Technology, Marketing, Lifecycle Services and Project Execution organizations. 

We are looking for someone who enjoys working with many different customers and can handle technical topics relating to AMS Device Manager and associated products. 

AS A PRODUCT ENGINEER, YOU WILL:


  • Work directly with customers, Emerson Technical Support offices or representatives, Global Service Centre (GSC) engineers and development engineers on technical solution to AMS Device Manager applications

  • Provide feedback to Technology regarding our end user requirements of AMS Device Manager software based on the investigation of field issues

  • Generate close consultative longer relationships with key Emerson customers in order to assist with their AMS Device Manager support needs

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:


  • BS in Engineering or relevant degree 

  • Must have 6+ years of relevant experience

  • Creative problem solver

  • Ability to work directly with the end user resolving system issues on a running process

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential to support regular interfacing with customers and other departments within Emerson

  • Must be able to travel based on business needs

  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:


  • Strong preference for experience in Control Systems

  • Desired experience and/or previous knowledge of AMS Device Manager and/or AMS Device Manager peripheral products

Flexible Work Schedule – Remote Work Option
