Job Description:

The Complete Energy Services - Fluid Management Division provides hauling, sourcing, storage and disposal of the water and fluids used by producers throughout the lifecycle of their wells. Our basin-specific expertise, strategically positioned service centers and fleet of state-of-the-art equipment ensure our customers receive safe, reliable and efficient services to keep their production jobs running smoothly.


With an experienced professional team providing fluid handling, fluid storage, disposal, heating, water sourcing and water transfer services, we are focused on execution and safety at the wellsite.



We are currently hiring for a Field Supervisor at our West Texas Location.


• Pre-Job planning is an essential part of a quality job. The Operations Manager, Service Supervisors, Engineer and Salesman shall:
o Ensure all support paperwork for the job is current
o Ensure the proper types and quantities of materials have been loaded.
o Quantities and calculations for all materials needed shall be recorded.
o Determine personnel work assignments.
o Review the location equipment rig-up plan with job personnel.
o Review material handling procedures (MSDS, etc) with personnel performing the task.
o Ensure the required personal protection equipment, communication equipment and third party/borrowed equipment meet IPS standards/policy.
o Ensure the proper equipment is available and that it is ready to perform. "Perform" is defined as preventive maintenance current and the unit passing pre-job inspection.
• Prior to leaving for the location, the Service Supervisor shall verify that he has the correct job procedure and cost estimate for the job.
• A pre-convoy safety meeting shall be held prior to leaving for the location. During this meeting, the Service Supervisor shall ensure that all personnel are qualified for the job and ready to go to work. Convoy safety procedures shall be reviewed, along with the directions to the location, routing, general job procedures, and any special circumstances.


Job Responsibilities


• All IPS personnel shall wear clean, neat, company approved uniforms, hard hats, steel toe boots, safety glasses, hearing protection and other safety equipment as required.
• The Service Supervisor shall ensure that IPS personnel have sufficient preparation time to start the job when scheduled.
• The Service Supervisor shall meet the customer upon his/her arrival and discuss the following:
o Determine which Company Representative is in charge.
o Confirm who we are, what we are going to do, and who is in charge.
o Review the job procedure.
o Confirm monitoring requirements; verify rig-up plan, etc.
o Determine any Customer preferences as to the presentation of the job data.
o Review any planned deviations for the design.
• A pre-job safety/tailgate meeting shall be held at the job site prior to work to ensure the understanding of the following:
o The job procedure
o All individual job responsibilities including the IPS service team, customer and third party personnel.
o All safety/environmental procedures and precautions including availability and use of personal safety equipment.
• Emergency contingency plans.
o An emergency vehicle shall be designated and directions to the nearest emergency location shall be reviewed (including phone number).
• All hookups shall be made in accordance with IPS safety policy/standard.
