Senior Manager, Human Resources Business Partner

This position collaborates with client groups and other internal partners to act as a proactive consultant to the business.

In this role, your main missions are:


  • Partner with business leaders to build high functioning and performing teams, driving towards business goals and results

  • Provide proactive, strategic, and effective consultation to leaders on organization design, internal mobility, career paths, and workforce planning to drive overall organizational effectiveness (including development of custom solutions for client groups)

  • Coach leaders to manage and maximize the skills/capabilities of their team members to create an environment of empowerment and accountability, including any performance management

  • Manage employee relations including conducting investigations ensuring proper handling, documentation and alignment with senior counsel

  • Run execution of talent development programs within each business unit (e.g., succession planning, Talent Review process); own employee communications, track results/ outcomes, and leverage learnings within business units

  • Provide guidance and coaching to managers and employees to ensure full understanding and practical application of HR programs, practices, and policies

  • Collaborate with other HR teams (Operations, Compensation) to execute and innovate critical HR processes, including: annual Talent Review, compensation review, open enrollment, etc.

  • Maintain awareness of emerging trends and best practices to ensure alignment of the people strategy to the business objective

  • Facilitate talent development workshops, webinars, and other training sessions to develop skills and capabilities of our employees and managers

What we are looking for

You. . .


  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in related field

  • Have 7+ years’ experience in Human Resources; Employee Relations and/or Talent Development experience preferred

  • Knowledge of employment law and practices, an understanding of Company policies, procedures, state and federal laws, with the ability to apply the knowledge to multiple situations

  • Strong written and verbal/consultative skills

  • Demonstrated ability to consistently communicate with high emotional intelligence, including effectively resolve conflict

  • Ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential information in a manner that inspires confidence and trust

  • Ability to consult, respond to inquiries and influence a wide variety of key stakeholders

  • Creative and strategic problem solving skills

  • Ability to independently conduct a thorough investigation

  • Ability to execute against multiple high priority projects through exceptional organizational, prioritization and effective time/project management skills
