Your Impact:

The Project Manager will be part of the Hearst Autos Creative Solutions team. In this role, the Project Manager will lead client communications and management for automotive campaigns involving custom, display ads, bespoke content programs, and partnerships. The position will work collaboratively across advertiser, internal marketing, sales, operations, and vendor teams covering deliverables, estimating timelines, and resource requirements. 

This position will be the hub of the wheel coordinating activity among many internal and external stakeholders. The goal will be to efficiently manage the development process, successfully deliver advertising projects on time, and exceed client expectations.

What You'll Do:


  • Plan, coordinate, and implement sold-in custom advertiser-driven campaigns across all Hearst digital properties, including iconic brands such as Car and Driver, Road & Track, Cosmopolitan, Harper’s Bazaar, Esquire, Men’s Health, and Elle and digital-first brands such as Delish.

  • Execute custom programs ranging from, but not limited to, custom co-branded content, custom-shot videos, social activations, and high-impact ad units.

  • Communicate and partner with internal teams (i.e. Sales, Marketing, Editorial, Design, Copy, Social, Legal) and third-party vendors to create custom content and ad products.

  • Lead both client and internal communication for all assigned programs.

  • Coordinate delivery of custom content elements.

  • Ensure that campaigns launch on time, deliver exactly what was sold, and exceed all given benchmarks by optimizing when necessary.

  • Maintain an expert understanding of our ad products and capabilities.

  • Monitor and optimize campaign metrics for delivery and KPIs; provide detailed reporting and recommendations to all internal and external teams.


  • Work with Data/Analytics and Marketing Teams to product Final Reporting and Campaign Recaps.

Who You Are:


  • You have a minimum of 5-7 years of experience managing advertising or marketing projects.  

  • You demonstrate the ability to track and manage various creative assets.

  • You have very strong organizational skills and an eye for detail.

  • You have the ability to lead a cross-functional project team, juggle multiple projects at one time, and execute against firm deadlines.

  • You have strong relationship-building and communication skills.

  • You have excellent writing skills.

  • Automotive experience is a plus.

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is a plus.

  • Platforms: Central Desktop, CMS, Omniture, DoubleClick for Publishers (DFP) experience a plus.

  • You have familiarity troubleshooting technical problems in HTML, JS, Flash, HTML5 is a plus.

  • You have familiarity with G Suite tools is a plus.
