The MARKETING MANAGER'S essential purpose is to create, improve and maintain content and CRM to drive bookings, incremental revenue, guest engagement, and improve reputation of the hotel portfolio and outlets. To create and report on data, trends and marketing analytics to inform progress, performance, and drive data-based decisions. To implement and manage strategic partnerships with agencies with only general supervision. To work with the Marketing Teams to coordinate advertising strategies, campaigns, property messaging, and other marketing activities to drive bookings and other desired actions. To manage data and analytics and collaborate with Marketing Team on achieving and reporting on key metrics. To understand the overall marketing strategy, brand guidelines and messaging for each resort hotel, and to maintain consistent proactive marketing outreach. The employee will routinely perform office or non-manual work that directly relates to the Company’s general business operations and will customarily and regularly use discretion and independent judgment in performing the job.
ESSENTIAL PURPOSE:
JOB KNOWLEDGE & EDUCATIONAL LEVEL: Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university. English fluency required. Must have a minimum of 4 years of experience in hospitality/hotel marketing, a creative agency, content creation, or advertising. Strong typing skills. Must be computer literate and have working knowledge or all office software, including PowerPoint, Excel, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Lightroom, PremierPro, iMovie, and Microsoft Outlook. Must have knowledge of social media outlets, including, but not limited to, FaceBook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn. Must have advance knowledge of business writing formats and usage. Ability to travel and project a professional self-image. Must display knowledge of office procedures, organizations, and telephone etiquette. Must be able to perform and prioritize multiple tasks with ease. Valid California’s driver’s license required. Proof of personal automobile insurance coverage required.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT: Works indoors approximately 95% of shift in temperature- controlled, clean, and well-lighted office. Works outdoors approximately 5% of shift, in varying weather conditions. Makes regular short trips between locations.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Stands/walks approximately 10% of shift; sits approximately 90% of shift. Moderate to heavy use of computers and phones daily. Bends, stoops, and reaches to perform routine tasks. Must be able to work well under pressure. Must be flexible to work long, sometimes irregular hours. Occasionally required to handle and move objects weighing up to 40 lbs. over short distances.
