Job Description:

In this role you will need an understanding of customer needs/insights, provides initial product/solution design, pricing, value proposition, messaging and/or whole product strategies (packaging, warranty, service, support), as well as forecasting through product introduction. You will need to apply market and customer insights and requirements; along with vendor brand loyalty to define the compute offering, ensuring the right products launched at the right time at the right cost for compute in a manner in which maximized the ROI to HPE. Drive the definition of a product family/portfolio through R&D and Solutions teams.

• Be time to market with the right portfolio compatible to the right platforms. Creation of PRD in support of this and driving portfolio concept to grave.


• Execute on a compute, platform-centric forecasting model, adjust based on historical learnings, and to drive operational excellence in forecasting


• Ensure success of networking cards offering in Mainstream options SKU strategy/rationalization


• Business excellence in tracking the business metrics to drive success of their products, quickly respond to demand changes


• Actively manage E&O


• SKU simplification


• Cost and price excellence


• Drive a portfolio closely aligned to our solution offering, collaboration on marketing a solution with the optimal offering, but one growing with the market eg move to the edge


• Alignment with our supply chain on a multi source strategy
