Job Description
Support the Bob's Steak and Chophouse team as they deliver an upscale fine-dining experience. Help train, supervise and coach associates to be successful, work directly with guests to resolve problems. Expedite as needed. Complete various projects, office work, and work side by side with the General Manager to facilitate restaurant operations.
Responsibilities
Observe staff on the floor, assist in steps of service.
Assist in overall supervision of the department.
Attend pre-meal with team.
Monitor guest experience and help determine improvement plans for service.
Help handle guest complaints.
Ensure Kronos time edits are up-to-date daily.
Help create weekly food and beverage costs reports for DoFB.
Spot check liquor pars, assist in monthly inventory recording procedures.
Order supplies through Birchstreet, reconcile invoices.
Help DoFB manage costs through proper checkbook reconciliation.
Assist DoFB in responding to on-line social media feedback.
Establish Medallia weekly reports to identify areas of service opportunity.
Respond to Medallia Guest feedback daily to identify areas of opportunity.
Assist DoFB in running payroll reports and identifying trends, assist in reduction action plan.
Assist DoFB with beverage mandates and corporate compliance programs.
Assist in weekly maintenance walk through and create action plan to fix.
Help create comprehensive management on boarding program.
TIPS training
Essential Functions:
Administrative responsibilities.
Assist manager in:
Scheduling
Forecast weekly
Forecast monthly
Completing weekly payroll
Prepare maintenance requests and follow-up.
Assist DoFB with Cost control
Monitor food and liquor requisitions
Monitor food waste.
Monitor labor and payroll costs.
Must be familiar with and adhere to all liquor liability laws:
Dram Shop Act - Prohibiting the sale/service of alcohol to intoxicated guests.
Prohibiting the sale/service of alcohol to minors.
Must know emergency procedures (including CPR) and work to prevent accidents.
Perform any other duties assigned by management.
Tools and Equipment:

File folders, filing cabinet, and facsimile machine
Working Environment:
Interior of hotel, in all areas of the hotel.
Exterior of hotel with exposure to weather conditions.

Qualifications
Prior restaurant / food and beverage experience required. Prior leadership/supervisory experience in a restaurant, resort or hotel required.
