The Chief Technology Office (CTO) for JPMorgan Chase drives firm-wide efforts in such critical areas as Cloud Enablement & Adoption, Technology Portfolio Management and Rationalization, Platform and API Strategy, Development Tooling and Practices, Big Data and Machine Learning services, Data Architecture, Reference Architecture, and Technology Data Management.
This position is firm-wide in scope and will require significant collaboration, influence, and leadership across all technology organizations that support all lines of business and functional areas (e.g. Risk, Finance, Compliance etc).
Key responsibilities of this role include:
Analyze business requirements for the purposes of constructing delivery specifications
Proactively engage with stakeholders and users to address needs and issues
Design, develop, review, test, debug, analytical solutions to get more value from public cloud spend
Collaborates with fellow team members and keeps the team and other key stakeholders well informed of progress of application business features being developed
Promote innovation to address current and future business requirements by monitoring markets and communities for new and cross-domains approaches and technologies
Deliver iteratively by using DevOps principles and Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery
We're likely a good match for each other if your background includes any of the following:
Working in large-scale IT organizations
Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
Experience working in software engineering teams
Experience with IT infrastructure specification, design or management
Hands-on experience in public cloud architecture and/or migration, infrastructure, application development
Very strong analytical skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including visual presentation skills
Demonstrated experience in problem definition, research, data collection, and analysis
Demonstrated ability to process information from multiple sources to determine course of action
Experience and demonstrated ability working in agile delivery teams
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
Some things that will get our attention....
Experience with cost management in public cloud - FinOps certification a definite plus
Certification in at least one public cloud provider incl. AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
Experience with enterprise financials tools or modeling
Experience with Business Intelligence tools
Experience with Scrum, Kanban, SAFe
ServiceNow experience or certifications
Data engineering experience
Experience with machine learning technologies
