Housekeeping Floor Technician and Assistant Housekeeping Supervisor for NHC Place at Cool Springs
NHC Place at Cool Springs is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Floor Technician and Assistant Supervisor to join our team. This position is responsible for maintenance and cleaning of all floors throughout the building and assisting the director with supervision of the department. The NHC Place at Cool Springs campus is home to a 180-bed HealthCare Center, a 68-apartment Assisted Living community, and our 20-apartment Aspen Arbor Memory Care.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be able to read and speak Standard English.
- Must be able to deal tactfully and effectively with patients, families, fellow employees and visitors.
Position Highlights:
Are determined by the center and may include, but are not limited to the following:
- Maintain all flooring in center.
- Assist with room changes and cleaning of patient rooms
- Clean hallways, sweeping up debris, mopping, stripping and buffing following company and center policies and procedures
- Clean walls, furniture and equipment, as needed, to provide a clean pleasant environment for patients, staff and visitors
- Work safely, following proper procedures when using chemical agents
- Follow established cleaning schedules
- Assist supervisor with cleaning inspections and routine staffing
- Other duties which may be assigned from time to time
