The Impact You'll Make

In this role, you effectively execute the operations of Vituity's human resource information systems (HRIS) team and oversee the HRIS strategy and roadmap projects, including ongoing system enhancements (bugs, fixes and updates). This position manages and analyzes business requirements and determines appropriate systems requirements to meet the requirements; ensures the integrity of data and reports in HR systems; manages multiple and concurrent initiatives; collaborates effectively with other groups and leaders across and throughout the organizational landscape.

Additional responsibilities include, but not limited to:


  • Oversee the daily operation of the HR Information Systems.
  • Successfully manage, coach, guide, train, establish objectives for, and provide effective performance feedback to HRIS team.
  • Partner with internal teams to resolve business problems through analytical thinking, effective probing, and creative problem solving.
  • Establish effective process documentation and controls for all system changes and ensure compliance.
  • Develop and implement HR data management and data governance framework, including creating policies and procedures to maintain data integrity.
  • Establish post-project analyses, document lessons learned, and incorporate into future revision plans.
  • Responsible for the system health and enhancements in Oracle HCM Cloud, Oracle Taleo and bridges the Talent Management systems, e.g., LMS, Salesforce, ShiftAdmin, Phenom, ServiceNow, etc., together to ensure upstream and downstream data is accurate.
  • Oversee HR systems security and access controls to ensure appropriate distribution of data and use.
  • Ensure systems quality and data accuracy by establishing process for HRIS to successfully audit data, system and access using established internal governance processes.
  • Partner with Information Technology to oversee the ongoing maintenance of data security, the support of integrations to and from HCM, Taleo, and other Talent Management systems (ex: Active Directory, AI, SFDC, LMS, ServiceNow).
  • Drive maximum reporting and operating efficiency with business's reporting requirements and train users to effectively use dashboards and reports.
  • Establish an audit calendar that captures details on daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Ensure all HR-related systems are compliant with data protection laws.
  • Consult on the integration of new features and applications into the work environment, regarding their operational and training implications. Partner with People Operations and Shared Services to ensure operational readiness.
  • Oversee the management of updates and new enhancements in each Oracle HCM Cloud, Oracle Taleo and other internal Talent Management system release and coordinate with the People Operations team to review, validate, and enable the new functionality.
  • Strategize, plan, and manage future enhancement and update roll-out for HR Systems, ensuring clarity on impacts to planned roadmap activities; communicate status and issue escalations to sponsors and steering committee.
  • Plan and manage the required tasks for HRIS Analysts to configure and deploy new features of HR Systems.
  • Proactively seek business requirements and scope projects for system requirements, ensuring appropriate timing and resource allocation and availability.
  • Partner with assigned Project Manager to create the project plan for system design and development of technical project work streams; effectively conduct and facilitate project team meetings; process/system architecture, configuration, design, and development; and develop test plans and coordinate testing.
  • Responsible for deployment and cutover tasks to move projects into production.
  • Develop and implement effective communications plans for HR systems.
  • Oversee and partner with the Business Owners and/or Change Management for training plans and execution of training.
  • Identify required systems support and develop/modify support model as required.
  • Develop and implement an enterprise-wide workforce analytics strategy that moves from a decentralized data reporting model to a centralized shared service that provides operational and strategic reporting and data analysis support to business users/leaders.
  • Oversee the development of all workforce/people analytics efforts including data governance, reporting and dashboards, employee sentiment analysis, predictive modeling, and workforce planning.
  • Provide consultative insights and actionable recommendations on key people trends to executive leadership; Work directly with Talent Leadership to gain detailed understanding of needed insights and drive improvement of key people processes
  • Empower HR business partners/managers with improved tools and training to easily access, understand, and act on people data.
  • Apply appropriate techniques in research, quantitative analysis, and data visualization to see beyond the numbers and help the organization recruit, grow, and retain talent
  • Utilize strong story telling capabilities to communicate statistical analyses and results, as well as the people and business implications to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Design a data driven, yet practical approach to define strategies. Create a framework to track overall health of organizations over time.
  • Partner with IT and other system business owners to merge data from multiple systems to provide meaningful insights through data analysis.
  • Proactively address business gaps or opportunities identified through analytics.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance the employee experience and optimize the business's ability to improve people processes and make more informed talent decisions through technology-enabled solutions and access to data and analytics.
  • Serve as the HR technology expert and liaison for enterprise-wide technology implementations.
  • Understand and administer business and departmental objectives, program planning, and rollout (budgets, resources needed, defined scope, timing, delivery methods, deliverables, and clear measures of success) such as, but not limited to:

  • Process improvement projects for hire-to-retire processes
  • Programs targeting talent development, compliance, and organization effectiveness
  • Implementation of new technology applications, modules, or integrations
  • Operational initiatives established by People Operations leadership

  • Oversee, coordinate, and report on project plans, milestones, and metrics to track progress and assess effectiveness of multiple human resource initiatives.
  • Assist with development of policies to support HR initiatives and maintain related procedural documents.
  • Partner with IT to execute application integration strategy to/from HR systems based on enterprise/solution architecture best practices and design guiding principles.

What You Will Bring

We'd love to hear from candidates with:

Required Experience and Competencies:


  • Bachelor's Degree in HR Management, Computer Science, or similar field of study, or equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates attainment of the required competencies.
  • 7 years of HRIS management and administration experience, preferably utilizing SaaS HR technology.
  • 3 years of experience working with Oracle HCM Cloud, Oracle Taleo, and other HR applications as a team leader, preferably in a global organization.
  • 10 years of experience in Human Resources and/or HR Systems, preferably as a regular, full-time post, though long-term consulting assignments will be considered.
  • 5 years of successful leadership experience.

Preferred Talent Assets:

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA).
  • 3 years of experience with Oracle Cloud HCM and/or Oracle Taleo.
  • Product Owner/Director Experience for SaaS application.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
  • Lean/Sigma Certification or formal quality improvement training.
