Highlights:
General Description:
The Resource Specialist works with clients and families to assist in overcoming barriers to consistent participation in services. Contact with clients may be via phone, mail, home/community visits, individual or family appointments, or curriculum-based groups. The Resource Specialist is responsible for transferring clients to the appropriate level of clinical treatment within Options and providing referrals to outside resources, as needed. Ability to travel to, and to provide services in, families homes and communities is required*
Schedule:
This position is anticipated to be full-time (40 hours/week), Monday through Friday 07:00 AM to 04:00 PM. However, some weeks may have fewer scheduled hours. The actual hours worked may vary daily depending on the needs of the referring agency or individual client families. Some overtime may be required and approved by your supervisor in response to client needs, referrals, or other factors.
Minimum Qualifications:
Meet criteria as a Qualified Mental Health Associate (QMHA). Ability to work independently, in teams, and with a variety of social service systems and resources. Relate effectively with children, adolescents, parents, staff and the community. Must be computer proficient in a Microsoft Windows environment, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and record keeping software. Good written and verbal communication skills. Must have respectful, open, unbiased, accepting attitude toward clients and their families. Maintain client confidentiality. Pass a criminal background check and/or fingerprinting. Must have a valid Oregon drivers license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance*
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in social work, psychology, family studies, or related field preferred. Experience in the assessment and treatment of children/adolescents and/or adults, and their families.

*Positions that require driving clients must maintain vehicle insurance as required by law, with a minimum of $100,000/$300,000/$100,000 personal auto liability coverage (proof of insurance will be required).
