Job Description:

PRIMARY FUNCTION: 


Chappell Supply and Equipment has for over 35 years served as one of the nation’s largest industrial cleaning equipment suppliers, providing industrial pressure washers, hydraulic hoses, wastewater systems and various related products. The Social Media Coordinator would assist in the development and management of social media marketing and influence the Company’s marketing strategy.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


• Assist in the creation and editing of written, video and photo content.

• Develop and curate engaging content for social media platforms.

• Maintain unified brand voice across different social media channels.

• Monitor social media channels for industry trends and competition.

• Suggest new ways to attract prospective customers.

• Interact with users and respond to social media messages, inquires and comments.

• Execute a results-driven social media strategy.


QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:


• Have verifiable experience of 1 - 3 years of social media experience.

• Have expertise in multiple social media platforms.

• Have a stable work history.

• Ethical and professional.

• Proficient with Microsoft applications and a self-starter. 

• Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video).

• Familiar with online marketing strategies and marketing channels.

• Proficient with video and photo editing tools, digital media formats and HTML.

• Strong copywriting and copyediting skills.

• Top-notch oral and verbal communications skills.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

 

• Ability to understand, remember, and communicate routine, factual information.

• Have the ability to organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology.

• Ability to complete tasks on the computer as well as conduct routine oral communication in person or over the phone.

• Have the ability to regularly demonstrate Company product lines.

• Be able to lift up to 25 pounds.

• Be able to coordinate movement of the fingers and hands to grasp, move and have the adequate dexterity and strength to complete tasks.

• Able to compute, analyze and interpret numerical data for reporting purposes.

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide and record, balance and check results for accuracy.
