Position Summary:
This position coordinates program evaluation activities for the IdahoSTARS project - a statewide collaborative project between the University of Idaho's Center on Disabilities and Human Development (CDHD), the Idaho Association for the Education of Young Children, and the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare. The IdahoSTARS Evaluation Coordinator will design and implement evaluation plans, create evaluation documents and measurement tools, gather and organize evaluation data, create evaluation reports, and assist the IdahoSTARS leadership team with corresponding program improvement and outreach activities.
Minimum Qualifications: Education:
Bachelor’s degree in statistics or in maternal and child health field.
Experience:
2 years of experience analyzing and utilizing data to make programmatic decisions;
Conducting independent research;
Survey design and data analysis;
Developing evaluation reports.
Preferred Qualifications: Education:
Master’s degree in statistics or in a maternal and child health field. Experience:
Technical support writing;
Early childhood data systems;
Prioritizing and organizing multiple activities to reach established goals.
Interpersonal skills and abilities to work effectively as a member of a team, promote team goals, and maintain team climate.
Knowledge of:
Principles and practices of research, including the methods and procedures of statistical analysis.
Quality early care and education practices;
Idaho child care supports and services.
