Position Title:

Manufacturing Engineer Intern

Position Summary:

Work with Maintenance & Engineering Manager to determine best practices and suggest more efficient methods.

Job Description:

• Help determine machining capabilities.




• Help conduct/review SOPs in coordination of JSAs.




• Work with ADE and Operations.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Good Communication skills with local (site) teams and manager.




• Bring to closure assigned projects and communicate clearly the findings using appropriate tools.




• Experience analyzing data using Excel, Minitab, or other data analysis tools




• Familiarity with AutoCAD




• Compliance with EHS policies and standards.




• Pursuing a degree in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, process engineering, chemistry, or a related field.




• Minimum GPA 3.0




• The candidate must be actively enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at the time of application.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORK ENVIRONMENT The physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, bend, stoop, climb, twist, turn, grasp and move about the facility. Walking, walking on irregular surfaces and balancing will be required. Hearing, sight to include depth perception and color vision and the ability to speak clearly will be required. Occasionally lifting and/or move up to 50 lbs. and the ability to comply with PPE requirements (ability to pass a fit-test and wear a respirator is required for certain positions/locations). The environment for this position is a Manufacturing setting, with exposure to outside weather conditions and loud noise. Candidates should be able to adapt to a traditional business environment.
