Job Overview

The Warehouse Team Lead is responsible for the following:

* Works with the shop floor leads and planners to dispatch work to the floor.
* Directs the warehouse team based on the daily/weekly workload.
* Acts as a back up for team members during time offs and emergencies.
* Ensures the team adherence to the TE Employee handbook and to safety and quality policies.
* Reports performance and behavior issues to the Materials Manager.
* Directs materials providing and handling to different shops across the plant.

This position requires access to information which is subject to stringent controls under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Applicants must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. lawful permanent resident, person granted asylee status in the U.S., or person admitted into the U.S. as a refugee.

What your background should look like:

Qualifications:

* Prior warehouse experience is required.
* Power Industrial Truck Experience is required.
* Ability to lift, push and pull palletized materials and products.
* Problem solver and ability to work under stress and do overtime when needed.
* SAP experience is preferred.
* Ability to communicate with people effectively with professionalism and respect.
* Strong Safety acumen.
