Job Title: Programming CoordinatorLead

Location: Conyers, GA

What we're looking for:

The Controls and Engineering Systems organization within Dover Food and Retail (DFR) is a cross-functional organization focused on delivery of groundbreaking system controls software, programming, and hardware solutions essential for the commercial food and retail refrigeration systems.

We are seeking a motivated, programming and project management professional with keen interest in new developments that help drive industry-leading improvements into food and retail refrigeration. We are looking for a programming coordinator who will enable our team in developing and launching best in class refrigeration platforms that integrate with our customer systems.

This professional will be responsible for developing and coordinating the programming of our industry leading refrigeration equipment. This will require clear ability to lead, develop, and execute technical programming around development of PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) driven refrigeration equipment.

What you'll be responsible for in this role


  • Program refrigeration systems and run end of line system tests

  • Coordinate outsourced programs to help drive our equipment

  • Collect, define, and document customer requirements

  • PLC programming and integration

  • Influence multiple stakeholders

  • Develop, document and improve the department's work and testing processes

  • Develop and implement refrigeration installation procedures

  • Knowledge of fire, life, safety and building codes standards

  • Research and apply related codes and standards

What are the basic qualifications?

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent with 4+ years of programming experience

What are the preferred qualifications?

  • 2+ years of experience with CO2 refrigerant systems

  • Advance knowledge of programming PLC systems

  • Experience building mechanical, electrical and controls

  • Knowledge with troubleshooting and resolution documentation

  • Knowledge of program management

  • Knowledge of refrigeration programming
