The revenue accounting team is looking for an experienced Senior Revenue Accountant who brings a motivated attitude, a commitment to efficiency and improving processes, and a fresh set of ideas for tackling new and exciting challenges.

Your day to day

  • Prepare month-end account reconciliations, ad-hoc management reports, and audit requests in a timely manner to meet deadlines in order to adhere to company's schedules

  • Prepare month-end journal entries including preparing updated revenue reserve account calculations.

  • Coordinate regular meetings with multiple sales & marketing process owners to solicit feedback on forecasted discounts programs. Compile results and present summary reports to management. Track actuals and investigate variances from forecasts and prior periods.

  • Calculate and analyze quarterly accruals for revenue incentives, including look back analysis

  • Prepare various reporting schedules for areas of responsibility and explanations for variances

  • Prepare support for quarterly and annual audits; including the compilation and preparation of detailed schedules, work papers, follow up items and financial reports related to areas of responsibility

  • Assist with SOX initiatives and testing; update SOX narratives, support internal audit requests related to areas of responsibility

  • Assist Revenue Accounting team with ad hoc projects as needed

  • Learn and transact accounting for new and complex business models

  • Recommend and implement methods of process improvement and operational excellence in the revenue accounting department and beyond

What you bring to the team

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent

  • Strong written and oral communication skills

  • 3+ years accounting or audit experience

  • Industry experience is a plus

  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP

  • Ability to establish and build effective and cooperative working relationships with business partners (sales, marketing, executive team, development, etc.)

  • Potential to grow with the company and take on more responsibilities

  • Strong computer skills, including thorough knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

  • Experience with business applications such as Oracle, Oracle Trade Management, Business Objects, and Hyperion is a plus

  • Strong technical writing and documentation skills

  • Experience working for international manufacturing company

  • Organized and detail oriented

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this position is between$80,000 to $110,000 based on a full-time schedule. The salary could vary beyond this range based on your specific skills and experience. This is an incentive-based role.
