EisnerAmper is seeking a Staff II Associate to join the Private Business Services (PBS) practice in our Dallas, TX office. We are seeking someone who thrives in a growing environment and providing clients with exceptional services.

PBS professionals work with family owned or closely held businesses of all sizes, as well as estates, trusts and family offices. Drawn from all industries, our clients may be start-ups, companies going through rapid growth, or mature, organizationally complex entities with sophisticated financial systems. Some PBS clients engage us for some level of financial statement service, including compilations and reviews. Others call on us for tax compliance services that include all aspects of planning, preparation, representation with IRS or state and local tax bodies, and specialty services for sales and use tax.

Responsibilities

• Build impactful relationships with new and existing clients and maintain relationship with firm leadership


• Preparation of financial statements (reviews and compilations)


• Preparation and review of tax returns (1040, 1120C, 1120S, and 1065)


• Develop a working knowledge of the client's business, take responsibility for completing assigned tasks, and meet client deadlines


• Brainstorm new ideas and propose innovative solutions to problems


• Mentor and coach junior team members

Basic qualifications for the opportunity

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent field is required


• 2+ years of tax compliance and/or financial statement preparation


• Experience with US GAAP

Ideally, you'll also have

• CPA or parts passed towards completion


• Master's degree in Accounting or equivalent field


• Experience using GoSystems, CCH Axcess, CCH Engagement, iManage, or BNA
